It is often recommended to start learning to play a stringed instrument like the cello at a young age, as it is difficult to master the various techniques well. This is why Leonardo offers a competitively priced cello in 3/4 size with the LC-1034. The advantage of giving a child their own cello is that it can increase motivation and more care is taken with the instrument.
Leonardo has chosen a construction made of laminated wood. This keeps the price low and the cello can withstand rough handling. In addition, the tuning keys and the tailpiece are made of rosewood. The black lacquer on these parts gives the cello a traditional look. The Leonardo LC-1034 comes complete with a bow and handy carrying case.
When buying a cello, it is important to choose the right size. The Leonardo LC-1034 has a 3/4 size. This makes this cello suitable for children aged between 9-13 years or with a body height of about 135-150 centimetres. This is an indication. It is best to consult with an experienced teacher which size is most suitable for your child.
