General
The Stentor SR1102G2 Student I 1/8 has been specially designed for young, beginner cellists. Thanks to its solid construction, this cello produces a rich, full-bodied sound, which is essential for a smooth learning experience. Each instrument is carefully crafted from solid, hand-cut tonewood: the top is made of spruce, whilst the back and sides are made of maple. The amber-brown varnish gives the instrument a classic look. The ebony fingerboard and pau rosa tuning pegs ensure stability and playing comfort. For easy tuning, this cello features a composite tailpiece with integrated fine tuners. This set comes complete with a wooden bow (natural horsehair, ebony ferrule) and a padded nylon case with reflectors, storage pockets and shoulder straps — ideal for safe transport to lessons or orchestra rehearsals.
