General
The Stentor SR1108I Student II 1/16 has been specially designed for young beginners who wish to build a solid foundation on the cello. The instrument is constructed entirely from solid, hand-carved tonewood, with a spruce top and a back and sides made of maple – each piece shaped with an eye for tonal quality. The ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs contribute to a smooth playing experience and good intonation. The bow supplied features natural horsehair and an ebony ferrule, so you can get started straight away. Everything is safely stored in a padded nylon case, fitted with reflectors and extra pockets for accessories – even shoulder straps have been included.
