General
Is it a triangle? Is it a wood block? Neither! It's the Nino Percussion NINO579M energy chime. This percussion instrument consists of a metal chime that is attached to a wooden holder. By striking the chime with the included beater, you produce a bright ping with lengthy sustain. This medium-sized Nino Percussion energy chime sounds somewhat like a triangle, but it has much more sustain. It's a great instrument for primary schools that want to introduce children to percussion instruments. All in all, it's a great addition to any percussionist's percussive palette.
