Normally, of course, as a drummer, you always want to try to avoid holes and cracks in your cymbals - but this cymbal already has holes of its own! This is obviously not a manufacturing defect, but deliberately done. The resulting effect on this 16-inch Meinl HCS Trash China is a loud and music-cutting china cymbal. The china is made from an MS63 bronze alloy and features a 'traditional' finish. The china is also very affordable, which makes it very attractive to beginning drummers.
