The Tombo MU-01 chromatic harmonica - black is a special model. What immediately catches the eye is its matte black finish and gold-coated mouthpiece. But the construction of the harmonica is also impressive. For a full, powerful sound, the blow and suction openings are made very wide. This has the disadvantage that the slide has to cover a greater distance while playing. To compensate for this, Tombo has designed the Short-Cross system, in which a second slide automatically moves along in the opposite direction. This shortens the distance for the slide by half.
Tombo MU-01: 12 holes
This harmonica has 12 holes with 48 reeds behind them, providing 48 tones. The total range runs from c1 to c4. The comb is made of sturdy ABS plastic and is therefore insensitive to moisture. The reeds have a thickness of 1.0 mm and therefore contribute to the fullness of the tone produced, even in the low register. Another special feature is the mouthpiece, which is designed to prevent dry lips.

The tombo brand was founded in Japan in 1917 and has been making harmonicas that have already gone all over the world ever since.Incidentally, the same factory also makes the Lee Oskar harmonicas. The same high quality is provided for the own-brand Tombo harmonicas. The Tombo MU-01 comes with a leather case made in Italy.

Het heeft een volle krachtige klank.
Het mondstuk heeft een perfecte vorm.Het aanblazen van individueel noten is puur en eenvoudig, ook
de akkoorden klinken prachtig. Door de ingenieuze schuif is het aanblazen van halve tonen vlot en soepel ui te voeren .
Dit instrument is meer dan zijn prijs waard voor de ernstige mondharmonica beoefenaar en zijn muziek.
