Yamaha MP ACL 5C Mouthpiece for alto clarinet

General

After so much time you have to replace the reed of your bass clarinet, but have you ever thought about changing your mouthpiece? The mouthpiece is a crucial part of any wind instrument, and not only does it dictate how hard you have to blow but it influences the overall timbre of the instrument. With the MP ACL 4C Yamaha offers you a mouthpiece for alto clarinet with excellent playing characteristics. This model offers comparatively more sound versatility than the 4C along with being richer and fuller.

Standard Series

Yamaha has an expansive collection of mouthpieces in their Standard series. These mouthpieces are made of high-quality phenol, which is synthetic material. Because Yamaha has borrowed the design from their custom series, it offers good, consistent playability. Moreover, the Standard mouthpieces are easier to play than those from the Custom series, which makes them a great choice for beginners. Most of the Standard series mouthpieces are offered in a variety of sizes.
