The Perez 66 Cypress Cutaway E2 Flamenco is designed for just that! This electro-acoustic guitar from Spain is equipped with a built-in pickups and preamp from the famous Fishman to ensure that the bright, loud sound of this guitar can be heard everywhere. A transparent pickguard comes with the guitar to protect the top from scratches and the like.

The sound of the Perez 660 Cypress Cutaway E2 Flamenco

This instrument is a Flamenco Blanca guitar, meaning that the sides and back are made of light-hued sycamore. Sycamore works to give the guitar the tight, bright percussive sound that Flamenco music is known for. Furthermore, the top of the Perez 660 Cypress Cutaway E2 Flamenco is made of first-rate solid German spruce, which provides a full, powerful, direct sound. Perez also made things easier for soloists by adding a cutaway, so they could easily reach the top of the 19-fret ebony fingerboard.

Fishman Prefix Pro Blend preamplifier

The electric portion of the Perez 660 Cutaway Thin E2 consists of a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend preamplifier with an internal microphone, and the Fishman acoustic Matrix piezo pickup under the bridge. This system allows you to fully adjust your amplified sound to find the perfect balance between the pickup and the mic, as well as filter out or adjust the bass and treble from -12 dB to +12 dB. You can also use the Contour slider the to boost/cut a range that you've set up in advance with the Frequency knob. Finally, there is also a Phase switch and a Notch filter for avoiding feedback.
