General
The Yamaha CGX122MCC is from the popular CGX series, and this version features a tasteful solid Western Red Cedar top. Nato was used for the neck, back and sides of the guitar, and both the bridge and the fretboard are made of rosewood. With the Yamaha CGX122 you can count on a warm sound that is rich in sustain with a clear accent, whether you play acoustic or plugged in.
The electronics of the Yamaha CGX122MCC
This single-cutaway nylon-string Yamaha guitar features a 2-way ART piezo pickup and a System 61 preamplifier. Such a system allows for this Spanish guitar's acoustic sound to be picked up in great detail and sent to the amplifier. You can adjust the sound in detail via the 3-band EQ, AMF slide and the volume control. The CGX122MCC also has a built-in chromatic tuner, which will definitely come in handy on stage.
