The Yamaha NCX700BL electro-acoustic classical guitar has a full, balanced sound that makes it incredibly versatile. From pop to flamenco and latin, the NCX700BL lends itself fantastically to diverse styles. The guitar features nylon strings and a cutaway, which makes it easier to reach high positions on the neck. The manufacturer put a lot of thought into the electronics as well, choosing to add ART pickups and a System61 preamplifier that exquisitely amplifies the beautiful nylon sounds of this instrument in detail.

NCX-700: solid spruce top

The NCX-700 has a solid top so the wood resonates extremely well to produce a full and powerful tone. Yamaha chose spruce for this, which guarantees a tone that is balanced and clear. The other parts of the guitar are fashioned from nato, which adds deep, rich tones while retaining the highs. A built-in tuner with display is also featured on this guitar, so you can always securely and quietly tune your instrument.

System61 preamplifier

The NCX700BL has two pickups and a preamp on board for a healthy dose of amplification. The ART pickups pick up the sound directly from the top, which keeps the sound closer to the original acoustic tone. Because the pickups are built to withstand sudden changes in dynamics, you're assured of a sound without distortion. With the accurate 3-band equalizer you can adjust the sound to meet your musical needs. Thanks to the 2-way system, you can set the volume for the bass and treble strings separately.
