Finished with flamed mahogany veneer, the Cordoba Mini II FMH classical guitar has a comfy 3/4-sized body but retains a full-sized 58cm scale length making it a stylish travel mate or entry-level instrument for younger guitarists. A set of pre-installed Savarez Cristal Corum strings ensure consistent tuning and combine with the mahogany body and pau ferro fretboard and bridge to produce balanced and familiar sound, while mother-of-pearl position markers and a faux-tortoiseshell soundhole rosette provide refined finishing touches.

Powerful Sound

While the smaller body of 3/4 models tends to lack the power of a full-sized model, the Mini II FMH counters this with a slightly deeper body, increasing the resonance, raising the volume, and shaping longer sustain - especially in the lower registers. Mooi uitziend 3/4 gitaartje. Aangeschaft omdat door een gebroken sleutelbeen spelen op mijn gewone gitaren tijdelijk te pijnlijk is. Van een “zeer volle, warme klank … die de vergelijking met een “grote” gitaar zeker aankan”, zoals de omschrijving aangeeft, is echter geen sprake. Wel fijn dat ik de komende weken, dankzij het formaat en lage gewicht van dit instrument, tenminste iets kan spelen.
