General

The tenor guitar is becoming increasingly popular, which is why Kala is introducing the KA-GTR. Its size is what distinguishes it from the competition; it's shorter than a standard tenor ukulele but longer than a baritone. Some people refer to it as a travel tenor. A handy feature is that you can choose between two tunings. It comes standard tuned in fifths (CGDA), but a baritone tuning is possible too (DGBE). Because it's so easy to play, beginners and experienced players alike are sure to appreciate it.

Wrote the following about Kala KA-GTR 4-string tenor guitar with bag

I've played a Kala uke for years and absolutely love it, so when I started looking for a Tenor Guitar I was delighted to find that Kala had produced one. I ordered it immediately and am so pleased that I did. It's a beautiful instrument... easy to play, sounds great, perfect size for me and a good price. With the added extra of a really decent padded gig bag included too! Excellent service from Bax Music....not used them before but would certainly recommend....quick delivery, well packaged and good communications. Very happy customer!
