General

The Blackstar Debut 15E is a more-than-excellent, 15-Watt practice amp loaded with Clean and Overdrive settings. In addition, the Infinite Shape Feature can be used to summon a broad range of sounds, all reproduced in full by two three-inch speakers and coloured in with the built-in tape-style delay. Coated in classic back vinyl, this Blackstar amp leaves a lasting impression.

The Blackstar Debut 15E: Smooth Ease-of-Use

The team at Blackstar have clearly given the design of the 15E plenty of thought. For silent practising, there's a headphone jack, which actually doubles as a recording output backed up by a speaker cabinet emulation. Another handy perk comes in the form of an MP3/line input, which can be used to plug in your phone to jam along to backing tracks or playlists. Wrapped up in retro style, the Blackstar Debut 15E is a comprehensive little practise amp and does it all for a more-than-reasonable price.
