Blackstar's programmable modelling amplifiers from the new ID series are revolutionary. The ID:60TVP is the first model from the series of four innovative programmable guitar amps. This 1x 12 combo combines the intuitive controls of a traditional amplifier with the versatility of digital technology. The UD:60TVP has six channels offering the typical Blackstar sounds of Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD1 and OD2. On top of that is an effects section with twelve built-in effects and the revolutionary TVP amp modelling.
Characteristics of the Blackstar ID:60TVP
The revolutionary TVP technology is unique to the ID series. It accurately models not only the sound but the response, dynamics and character of six different power amp tubes - the EL84, the 6V6, the EL34, the KT66, the 6L6 and the KT88. With six channels, six tube models and the famous Blackstar ISF tone control, the ultimate guitar sound is never far away. You can add studio-quality modulation effects, delays and reverbs to your sound and store it all in one of 128 user presets. With the optional Blackstar foot switch or any standard MIDI pedal, sounds can be recalled easily which is great for live performances.
Fully equipped programmable guitar amplifier combo
The Blackstar ID:60TVP is equipped with a USB connector that allows you to share your sounds and download new ones via the online community. You can also use the USB connector to record the sound of your amplifier directly to your computer. The amp comes with Blackstar GUI software that makes it easier for you to edit sounds in detail and then save them again An MP3/line input is also present so that you can play along with your favourite music on the ID:60TVP.
Tips or comments about this product- Starting with v1.6.2, INSIDER software features Super Wide Stereo technology both in real-time and during recording, as well as playback via Emulated Output and USB audio.
- INSIDER software from v1.6.2 allows you to record the sound of the amp to an iOS device via an optional Apple Camera Connection Kit or Apple Lighting-USB adapter.

Hij heeft een uitgebreide lampen emulatie met veel headroom voor een lage prijs en gewicht + de ingebouwde effecten zijn een goede aanvulling voor een volledig geluid. Dankzij de optionele footswitch heb je oneindig veel versterkers aan je voeten van sparky clean tot vet overdrive. Ik komt niets tekort en hij is heel degelijk gemaakt en mooi afgewerkt.
PC connectie is geen probleem en instellingen bewerken gaat vlot.
Enige minpuntje is bij gebruik send&return:
1) De effecten en TVP zitten achter de chain dus bij gebruik van een looper, wordt het geloopte geluid ook veranderd.
2) Clean stuurt een verzwakt signaal door de effectchain dat daarna versterkt wordt. Compressors, overdrives e.d. reageren anders + chain-ruis wordt meer versterkt. Ook looper (of toegevoegde) signaal wordt verzwakt/versterkt bij wisseling crunch<=>clean.
3) Geen Emulated Out bij send&return dus weer een micro nodig (enkel via USB maar dat is me zonder pc nog niet gelukt). Return chain aftappen gaat niet want TVP zit er achter en deze geeft ook volume verschil.
Opmerking: midi is aanwezig maar het taptempo via midi sturen gaat niet en was wel heel leuk geweest.
Conclusie: Behalve wat denkfoutjes is dit een fantastische versterker en als je hem 'normaal' gebruikt, ondervind je bovenstaande problemen waarschijnlijk niet. ==> 4/5
ivm levering ==> toch een dagje te laat ondanks een ruime geplande levertermijn en dit zonder reactie van BAX. Toch wat accurater zijn!

Een buizenamp klink op zich misschien wel helderder en sprankelender dan digitale amps, maar qua veelzijdigheid kan je dat toch niet benaderen met een tube amp. De blackstar is daarin een uitblinker. Voor wie een beetje alle genres wil aankunnen is dit een echte must...
Hij blinkt vooral uit in zijn overdrives vind ik. Hij doet daarin zeer degelijk zijn werk... Het is ook niet zomaar een modelling amp, maar je kan meer verschillende varianten van overdrive kiezen doormiddel van de TVP funtie, wat hem toch anders maakt dan zijn modelling concurenten... Daar waar andere amps meer kopie's zijn van grote tube amps, heb je hier gewoon je originele eigen sound die je kan tweaken.
Ikzelf was aan het twijfelen tussen de fender mustang en deze blackstar. Voor wie over deze keuze ook twijfelt:
Uiteindelijk moet je het een beetje zo bekijken: Vind je de cleans en effecten het belangrijkste ? Ga dan voor de fender...
Speel je meer in overdrive, op verschillende genres, kies dan voor de blackstar.
En moest je het je nog afvragen: Hij is luid genoeg voor in band, licht genoeg om geen hernia te krijgen, geen 5/5 klank tov dure buizenbakken maar wel zeer degelijk en veelzijdig.
Voor mij de winnaar boven andere amps rond dit budget (ook buizenversterkertjes die maar 1 kanaal hebben bijvoorbeeld)
Het wordt trouwens pas echt interessant met de uitgebreide footswitch (Zeker voor in een band)

De TVP functie van Blackstar geeft het geluid een enorme extra ruimte. Utischakelen kan, maar dit doet de versterker tekort.
De versterker reageert erg goed op dynamische verschillen in je spel.
Geluiden zijn snel te programmeren en op te slaan in de 12 banken. Pas met de voetschakelaar heb je toegang tot de overige banken.
De software is op een Mac wel een minpunt. : soms moet je deze meerdere keren opstarten voordat de versterker wordt herkend.
Opnemen via de USB werkt prima: de versterker wordt door de Mac probleemloos herkend als extra geluidskaart.
Voldoet prima in een bandsituatie. Voldoende vermogen om lekker te knallen.
Solide gebouwd. Voelt betrouwbaar aan.
Een prima keus waar je jaren plezier van zult hebben.
Zoals beloofd : op tijd besteld, morgen in huis.
