General

The Bugera Vintage V22 INFINIUM is a beautiful and powerful 2-channel valve combo with an astonishingly detailed sound. Its design is based on Bugera's successful Vintage V22 and the most notable improvements are the revolutionary INFINIUM technology and 12-inch Turbosound speaker. The Bugera V22 INFINIUM is equipped with a preamp with three 12AX7 valves and a 22 Watt power amp with two EL84 valves. These amps combine to produce a rich, vintage sound and enough power for the studio, rehearsal room and stage.

V22 INFINIUM: Vintage Sound and Design

The sound can be freely adjusted to your liking via the, by now familiar, controls. In addition to a gain for the Clean and gain and volume for the Lead channel, the Bugera Vintage V22 INFINIUM is fitted with expansive tone controls, master volume and a built-in reverb. You can engage the reverb and switch channels with the included footswitch. A remarkable feature is the Triode/Pentode (half power/full power) switch, which allows you to switch from a sultry, warm tone to a raw, high-gain sound.

INFINIUM-Technology and a Turbosound Speaker

It should come as no surprise that the Bugera V22 INFINIUM features the revolutionary INFINIUM circuit. It's this technology that divides the workload over each valve - extending their lifespan by up to 20 times. Moreover, as the tubes age, they hardly change timbre and you can combine different types of different brands if you want to. The high-quality 12-inch speaker of the Bugera V22 INFINIUM is developed by the British Turbosound brand. Enjoy its detailed, powerful and lively sound.

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

Very pleased with this amp. I have others including Mesa and Marshall but this right up there (on price v sound comparison). Great sound at low volume, well spec'd and great looking amp. I can use at home on triode setting and will use for gigs as enough volume for on stage (for me - I like lowish volume on stage and will mic up and let the PA do front of house). Like other reviewer, will essentially use as a single (clean) channel amp but crunch channel is good too.

Also got at a good price and quick delivery from Bax - will use again.

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

For the price, this amp sounds incredible. It has a VOX-like tone, with clear high end and solid bass. It has enough volume for home use and small gigs. It takes pedals very well and has a usable built-in reverb. The mid-boost is also very usable but it would be nice to see this available on the foot switch. The tone controls make it very versatile.

The built-in overdrive is OK, giving a light Marshall-like crunch, but personally I always use the clean channel and get overdrive from pedals when needed.

I don't think there is a better tube amp at this price.

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

Bugera V22 INFINIUM 22W Combo Tube Guitar Amp

Mooi geluid.
