General
With the London 12C Combo, Hiwatt kits out all entry-level guitarists with some legendary British rock sound. This wee amp comes equipped with a clean channel and a dirty overdrive channel so, when you combine this setup with the two-band EQ section, you gain wide-ranging sound that opens up everything from sweet and sparkling tone to some thick and tasty distortion. Everything is voiced by a single 6.5 inch speaker, and since this amp weighs less than 3 kilos, you can literally take it anywhere.
The Hiwatt London 12C: The Complete Practice Buddy
Hiwatt has also loaded up the London 12C with a handful of features to help make practice sessions easier. An external audio player can be connected up to the AUX input mounted on the front panel so you can play along with your favourite albums or backing tracks and, to make things even simpler, your phone, your tablet or your laptop can be paired up via Bluetooth so you can stream audio cable-free. Plug in your headphones, and you can also drill your scales and chord progressions in privacy and without bugging your neighbours and house-mates.
