Designed for the more demanding guitarist who won't settle for anything less than maximum warmth, expressive sound and some classic, throwback character, the Supro 1620RC Delegate Custom 1x12 combo amp more-than brings the goods. This Class A amp delivers 25 Watts of rich and dynamic tone - making it ideal for studio work as well as stage work, and all of it is voiced by a single 12 inch Celestion G12M Greenback speaker, backing everything up with a broad mid-range, controlled basses and tight and soft trebles that are never in danger of getting too shrill. The 1-channel design, meanwhile, supports accurate tweaking while extra atmospherics are supplied by a footswitchable built-in reverb.

The Supro 1620RC Delegate: Vintage Style, Modern Speed

Two 6V6 valves have been installed in the power-amp section and deliver that musical, American-flavoured tone, while the preamp section has been kitted out with three 12AX7 valves and one 12AT7 valve, laying on the rich and harmonic character we've come to expect from a Supro amp. Everything has been housed in a poplar wood cabinet, coated in Black Scandia tolex and finished with deluxe gold-coloured accents, tasteful cream piping and a matching Dogbone handle, completing the vintage look and polishing off a solid and durable amp. The hemp speaker grille and black Supro logo badge provide the final touches and, thanks to the relatively low weight and the compact dimensions, this amplifier is even pretty easy to get around.
