The AC15VR is a 2-channel guitar amp with Valve Reactor technology from the popular VOX Valvetronix series. A 12AX7 tube produces the warm, dynamic sound that tube amps are known for, and the two switchable channels deliver sounds ranging from the legendary VOX cleans to modern high-gain overdrive. The AC15VR offers excellent sound and versatility, all with stylish VOX looks.

VOX AC15VR: optimal control over your sound

Besides a master volume and master reverb, both channels each have their own combination treble/bass control. The Overdrive channel also has a separate gain control to give your sound that extra bit of warmth and edge. With the simple press of a button, you can switch from OD1 to OD2 for some screaming high-gain. Furthermore, the 12-inch custom Celestion speaker delivers a fat, full sound, and with 15 watts of power it's ideal for at home, in the studio and in the rehearsal room.

Extra convenient connectors

The AC15VR is equipped with an external speaker output so you can experiment with different speaker cabinets for new sounds. There's also an input for the optional VOX VFS2A foot switch, which allows you to switch between channels and turn the reverb on and off.

Geweldige versterker klink heel mooi.
ik heb clean op een VOX altijd al mooi gevonden.
de buizen maken dit een mooi product dat goed klinkt
ziet er ook nog prachtig uit en kan makkelijk gebruikt worden.
Ook het feit dat er reverb op zit en een overdrive is handig hierdoor hoef ik geen pedalen daar voor te kopen.
Ik kreeg hem optijd geleverd zoals vaker bij bax.

Een echte VOX, zoals het moet.

Mooie clean en geweldige overdrive. Met een druk op de knop ineens een distortion die je nog nooit uit een vox hebt horen komen. deze is ook goed en maakt het gebruik van een pedaaltje overbodig. het enigste wat ik nu nog op de vloer heb liggen is de bijpassende voetswitch. De ingebouwde reverb had van mij wel wat agressiever gemogen, maar hij is wel mooi en precies goed voor mij. komt bij clean, blues en old school rock goed uit de bocht. Voor wat modernere meuk zou ik er wel wat pedaaltjes voor gooien, wat ie overigens goed slikt. lekker buisje in de pre-amp maakt hem bijzonder warm. oogt uiteraard uitstekend want het is nou eenmaal een vox.

Voor blues gitaristen zoals mijzelf dus een uitstekende keuze, 100% geld waard.

Helaas wat verzend problemen maar dat lag bij postnl en niet bij bax.


Oja en gaat best hard ;)
