General
This 1.4-inch professional treble compression driver features a composite diaphragm. The mylar ring provides damping and avoids typical resonance peaks from surrounded metals. The pure titanium dome exhibits the unique mechanical properties of this material. The diaphragm is attached to a 2.84-inch edgewound aluminium ribbon voice coil. The SM C65 Nd offers high acoustic pressure over an extremely wide frequency range from 0.6 to 20 Kilohertz. Moreover, the use of a neodymium magnet makes the speaker 50% lighter than a ferrite model.
