With its warm, subtle 'washy' sound, this 20-inch Dual Crash-Ride from Meinl's Byzance Extra Dry series is versatile: from gospel to jazz and from fusion to funk. The cymbal is a fine combination of hand-hammering and machine production, and the finish is also special, being raw (extra dry) and high gloss (brilliant). It uses a B20 bronze alloy. Its sustain is short. A surprising musical partner!

Cymbaal ziet er ten eerste bijzonder mooi uit in een setup, maar het belangrijkste aspect is natuurlijk de sound. Dit cymbaal biedt een zeer fijne wash, met een warm geluid. Is in vele stijlen toepasbaar. Ik gebruik de cymbaal weinig als ride, slechts af en toe als afwisseling op mijn normale ride. Beter te gebruiken als crash naar mijn smaak. Ik gebruik hem dan niet zozeer als accent, meer als crash voor in de wat hardere secties. Al lange tijd veel plezier van!
