General
By its looks alone, you'll be able to tell that you are dealing with a remarkable cymbal. With its variously shaped cut-outs, this is clearly not your run-of-the-mill crash. The Vintage Trash Crash is part of Meinl's Byzance series, which consists of hand-hammered cymbals made of a high-quality bronze alloy. And as they are indeed hand-hammered, every individual Byzance cymbal has its own unique sound.
Meinl Byzance B20TRC
The Trash Crashes are sand-blasted and fitted with holes that greatly impact their sound. This large 20-inch model makes quite the racket and has a dark sound. It offers rhythmic accents with a wide spread that are hard to miss. But what else would you expect from a 20-inch cymbal? If you're looking for a powerful sound with an edge, then this cymbal is sure to please.
