Paiste PST5 18-inch Medium Crash

Originally introduced in 2005, the popular Paiste PST series has since been refreshed and upgraded. First unveiled at the 2014 edition of Musikmesse, the PST5 series cymbals have a warmer and more musical sound than previous generations. They're also way more flexible which elevates the playing comfort, and since this 18 inch crash has a medium weight, it also has a versatile, medium response.

The PST5 Series

In terms of appearance, Paiste haven't changed a thing. So, you still get the familiar traditional finish stamped with the Paiste logo, but in terms of sound, things get a little different. Specially re-designed with the help of the Swiss Soundlab, Paiste have managed to enhance the warmth of these cymbals while retaining their natural brightness. As such, the B8 bronze alloy used to shape this 18 inch crash lends clarity and sparkle that cuts through without getting too loud and harsh. It's also pretty versatile, making it the ideal crash for drummers seeking a more universal sound.
