General
These remarkable hi-hat cymbals not only stand out from the crowd because of their look, but also their unique sound. These PST X cymbals are made in Switserland and have loads of holes, resembling swiss cheese. These openings give the 10-inch Swiss Hats a more dry and raw sound that is comparable to an analogue drum computer. Both cymbals are medium-thin and have a glossy finish. They're ideal for electronic music, hip-hop, or as a second Hi-Hat, but these cool-looking cymbals make a great addition to any collection!
Loud and dry
When the hi-hat is played when closed, it gives a dry, raw sound and the volume is low. When played open, however, it's a totally different story. The sound is suddenly loud and lively, but with a medium short sustain. These cymbals have a fairly soft and responsive feel. The PST X Swiss Hats; a remarkable hi-hat set with many different sounds!
