Fazley CYM Excellence 18C 18-inch Crash Cymbal
Got this off the back of purchase of the FX timber and it certainly hasn’t disappointed and resulted in my purchase of the 16” crash.
I’d been chasing a good quality, dark sounding crash that didn’t break the bank. Prior to finding the Excellence series I’d been reliant on finding used high end cymbals for the most cost-effective solution but this range has changed my mind on that.
The sustain is great, it has lovely wash with dark tones and looks fantastic too with its aged finish.
The longevity remains to be seen, but even if it doesn’t last as long as its competitors it’s still a great cost-effective solution for a great sound. This range is going to feature prominently on my bands next album release so will be a testament to its quality and longevity (hopefully!)
