The PST X Swiss Flanger crash is very flexible thanks to its construction. Due to the holes, this cymbal has a bright, open sound and a short sustain. Suitable for playing by hand, this crash will be a fine addition to any percussion setup. Played with sticks, the Flanger Crash responds quickly and directly. An ideal cymbal for playing accents.
PST X Swiss Series
Paiste's PST X Series cymbals are made of B8 alloy, with the exception of the Pure Bells. The holes in the cymbals are not just randomly put in. The exact diameter and position of each hole was determined beforehand by the Paiste Sound Development team. The cymbals each have a different character, but in general we can say that the PST X cymbals have an airy, warm yet explosive sound.
