General
The Zildjian Company is the most famous cymbal manufacturer in the world, and with good reason. Their products are always of the highest quality and they have an incredibly wide range of different sounding cymbals, so that you can find the perfect Zildjian cymbal for every situation. K family cymbals get their name from the man who developed their sound in 19th century Turkey: Kerope Zildjian.
Zildjian K Custom 17-inch Dark Crash
Zildjian's K Custom cymbals have a modern, dark and dry sound. This 17-inch crash has a uniquely dry sound with trashy overtones. You could almost place it somewhere in between a crash and a china cymbal, though it definitely does not lack musicality. It has a rich, dark sound, it speaks quickly and has a short sustain, so it's perfect for sharp accents.
In short, this K Custom 17-inch Dark Crash offers you a relatively trashy crash cymbal with a beautiful dark sound and a quick response.
