Here we have yet another beautiful cymbal from the Zildjian K series: the Zildjian K0912 Dark Thin Crash. Just as its name suggests, this cymbal is a relatively thin crash with beautiful dark tones. It also has a low profile, which is responsible for the low pitch it gets. Because of its large 20-inch size, the K0912 offers a lot of volume and long sustain. Its size also means that it could be used as a ride, though because of the length of the sustain and the thin nature of the cymbal, we don't recommend it.
A gorgeous traditional hand-hammered crash with a rich, warm sound. Whether you're a beginner or a professional, you'll certainly enjoy this large crash, with its warm, dark tones.
