The Remo CU-5008-58 is a 5x8-inch cuíca that instantly gives you that recognisable Brazilian samba sound. In the centre of the head is a stick which you rub on the inside with a damp cloth, whilst applying pressure to the head with your other hand to bend the pitch. Thanks to its medium pitch, it is highly versatile for use in samba, percussion groups and world music.
