General
This Optimizer Starter Pack by Cympad includes all the felts you need for a proper setup. They're made of a special type of memory foam, which ensures better resonance and less contact with the stands. This set includes three felts for crash or splash cymbals that are 40mm in diameter and 15mm thick, a 3-piece hi-hat set of two clutch felts for the top cymbal and a seat for the bottom cymbal, and an Optimizer that's 18mm thick and 40mm in diameter for larger, heavier ride cymbals.

Praktische set met diverse maten. Isoleert je bekkens beter dan standaard viltjes; of je dat dan mooi en/of beter vind is een smaakkwestie. Ik kan het wel waarderen.

De diameter van 40mm vind ik redelijk groot voor een crash van 14"-16", het bekken ligt redelijk 'vast' op de standaard. Voor crashes kleiner dan 14"beveel ik deze cympads niet aan.
De pad voor de ride is redelijk dik; je moet behoorlijk wat schroefdraad met lange bekkenbusjes hebben om deze pad te monteren.
Klank van de bekkens is iets transparanter dan met gewone viltjes.
