QPercussion QSticks Natural purple

Sometimes it is necessary to play softly. Of course, as a drummer, you don't want to sacrifice sound and power in the process. You usually don't want that fat rock beat to suddenly sound very cowardly. At the same time, sometimes it is nice to have a softer, subtle attack. Dutch company QPercussion offers the solution with the QSticks. The QSticks are made in different colours. Each colour indicates the thickness and volume of the rods.

The purple QSticks are the thickest, and therefore also the loudest rods made by QPercussion. These rods sound warmer, fuller and fatter than drumsticks but deliver a lower volume. Ideal for practice rooms or acoustic performances. You may also have seen the purple Colored QSticks in our webshop. These are exactly the same rods, the only difference being that they have been given a more subtle, natural finish. The colour code on the Natural QSticks is still clearly visible on the ring located halfway up the rods. Purple QSticks have a thickness comparable to 2B drumsticks.

QPercussion - QSticks

QSticks are handmade from a very sturdy and pliable type of wood. The rods have received a double layer of lacquer, which makes them last a lot longer. The fact that they are made by hand is nice: each pair receives the same care and attention, guaranteeing quality. QSticks are available in six different colours: coloured, neon coloured and in natural wood. Each colour has its own sound and volume range. For instance, use the yellow version for lighter, soft playing and the purple one for solid, hard work. The colour code is useful if you have several rods; the pairs can be quickly identified.

The rubber ring allows you to adjust the sound per stick. Slide the ring further towards the handle to give the rods a bit more air for a lighter sound, or slide the ring towards the top for a firmer, more focused attack. For optimum rebound, better stick control and to protect drumheads, the top of the QSticks is rounded. QSticks are used by numerous well-known international drummers and percussionists.
