You and your music - that's what the Shure KSE1500 electrostatic earphones system was made for, using the very best technology imaginable. Although the technical story behind the KSE1500 is fascinating, all you really need to know is that it's the most advanced system of its kind on the market today. Simply connect any source via the line-in or micro UDB port and listen to High-resolution audio (24-bit, 96 kHz). What's more, the earphones reduce ambient noise to 37 dB and are extremely comfortable thanks to their ergonomic design.
Properties of the Shure KSE1500
This system essentially consists of a converter/amplifier and a set of in-ear headphones. Together, the whole thing weighs just 230 grams - so light, you'll barely know you're wearing it. Use it in combination with any portable device, such as an MP3 player, or with your laptop. Listen to music as it was intended to be heard, instead of via the inferior converter on your computer. The converter has an LCD display, on which you can read the levels of integrated 4-band equalizer. Choose from the standard presets, or create your own by determining your own blend of frequency, boost and Q-factor. The KSE1500 is a top-shelf Shure solution, especially for demanding mobile audio-lovers.

I works well from the USB port of my android phones, but I tend to use it with my AK120 titan which enables me to carry over 1/2 TB of high resolution music.
The detail is remarkable and the sound isolation is top rate. Although it comes with a good range of replaceable tips, I have bought my own spin fit tips which are even better than those provided (YMMV).
Battery life is estimated at 10 hours which seems fine as although I've not let it run dry I'm getting a comfortable six hours with plenty of juice to spare.
Warning this will expose any flaws or limitaions in you music, don't expect these to make poor music sound better, they'll make it sound worse. But if you have good quality music and a decent player, your ears will ge the treat of their lives...
