Ableton Live 9 Standard (French) upgrade from Live Lite OEM

Live Lite is a version of Ableton primarily intended to give you a taste of what the full package has to offer. It's for that reason that Live Lite and OEM come with other products (such as controllers). If you've been playing around with the software and are ready for more (who wouldn't be?) then you need the Ableton Live 9 Standard upgrade from Live Lite OEM (French). You get 11 GB of sounds (3,000 sounds) as well as the extra synths and effects that give the Standard version its appeal. So get ready for a treasure trove of new possibilities!

The upgrade

The 11 GB of sounds consists of a broad palette that includes guitars, pianos, old synthesizers, drums and much more. New effects are, of course, also included, as wells as functions such as Audio-to-MIDI and Drums-to-MIDI. Audio-to-MIDI is a plugin that analyses audio and translates it into MIDI information, making it possible for you to sing a melody that Ableton will convert into a composition. Drums-to-MIDI performs the same type of function, only it translates from percussion. The Standard version also greatly expands the number of audio and MIDI tracks you can use, from only a few to practically unlimited. Once you've gotten a taste of the new functionality, you're never going to want to look back.
