General
If you've invested in Ableton's Standard Live 9 software, you're probably ready for the next step. That's why Ableton offers this Suite upgrade for Live Standard 9, which gives you 54 GB of sounds in various genres. You'll also get 9 virtual instruments and 40 effects.
Ableton Live 9 Suite upgrade
The sounds in this software package are designed for large-scale music productions. Using Audio-to-MIDI, you can extract MIDI notes from an audio file or even a vocal recording. You'll also get Max for Live, a comprehensive modular system that enables you to build effects, MIDI effects and even synths.
Who is this software for?
The way this software works makes it perfect for electronic music producers who specialise in genres like house, dance, trance and dub-step. It also offers the option to work on a project using an external controller, which is equally handy for live applications as well. Ableton does not only cater to these specific genres, however, and offers a wide array of orchestral sounds as well, for instance. At the end of the day, if you want to transform your musical ideas into a format that can be performed in a live setting, Ableton is a must-have!
