Many a musician's musical career started with playing the recorder. Hohner made the B98451 with beginners, especially children, in mind. In fact, on this flute the holes are arranged so that children's hands can easily reach them too. The pink headpiece is made of plastic treated with silver ions. With regular maintenance, this special technique ensures a very hygienic instrument, as bacteria cannot adhere to the headpiece. Children can still be careless when putting the flute away. That is why a Roll Stop system has been fitted, so that it does not keep rolling endlessly.

Wood and plastic

This three-piece soprano recorder is made of both wood and plastic. Pear wood has been used for the middle piece and the foot. This gives the flute a warm sound. The headpiece is made of plastic which makes it easy to make sound with, as well as clean. Made with a baroque bore and double-drilled at the sixth and seventh holes. To transport the instrument, a handy soft case is included, with name label.
