Hohner Comet 40 C harmonica

The Comet 40 is an elegant classic by the renowned brand, Hohner. It's an octave harmonica that sports the same streamlined design as it did in the early 1950s. An octave harmonica has two rows of blow holes, just like a tremolo harmonica. At each position, the sound will come from two openings, and the reeds are placed in such a way so that they produce an exact octave. This creates a unique effect that's reminiscent of old German folk music, which explains the traditional look of this instrument.

The Hohner Comet 40

Hohner has equipped this harmonica with a synthetic red comb, which means it's sure to last even longer, and won't swell after use. It features anodised gold aluminium covers that are the same length as the harmonica and feature the Hohner name in red letters on top. The Comet has 40 blow holes and brass reeds.
