A harmonica can take any song and make it better with just a few notes here and there. As such, the harmonica has become a mainstay in many genres, such as blues, rock, soul, jazz and country. The instrument is often just 10 cm in size, but you'll need at least one hand to play it, nonetheless. And that's a shame, really, because if you had both hands free, you could simultaneously play another instrument, read a book, or even do the washing up!

Hohner Diatonic Harmonica Holder

This Hohner harmonica holder is made especially for diatonic harmonicas with 10 holes, which can be quickly and easily placed in the clamp. The clamp is pressed shut by two springs, so that your harmonica stays firmly in place. If you'd like to switch to a different harmonica while you're playing or practising, that's no problem either. Simply press down on the clamp and switch harmonicas.

Sturdy but Comfortable

While you're using it, though, the harmonica is kept firmly in place by the clamp, while the bracket that holds the clamp can be adjusted with two wing nuts. Hohner added these wing nuts because with many other harmonica holders the harmonica tends to slowly fall forwards, so that eventually you can't reach it any more. If you simply tighten the two wing nuts properly, you shouldn't have that problem. The neck brace is fitted with a plastic cover, so that it's comfortable to use, while still offering a sturdy metal construction. This holder is suited for virtually any Richter-tuned diatonic harmonica with 10 holes.
