General

Like the other Sunday Drivers, the compact Lehle Sunday Driver XLR is a high-quality preamp for a variety of electric and acoustic instruments. This variant has an XLR output as a notable feature, making it usable as a DI box on stage and as a recording preamp or DI box in the studio. Any hum is countered with the earth switch and maximum dynamics are achieved thanks to the internal conversion to 18 volts.

The capabilities of the Sunday Driver XLR booster

The input signal is D-mode ('Driver') to the input impedance of a guitar amp and neutrally amplified. It compensates for the signal loss that can occur due to long cables and extended effect sets. The Sunday mode, with its quadruple impedance, provides an unprecedented detailed sound and makes the tone wonderfully sultry. The gain knob then makes the signal not only stronger, but also warmer.
