Pre-equipped with a PAD switch and ground-lift switch, the Palmer River Series Wipper passive DI box ensures that the sound of unbalanced instruments are sent to the mixer or audio interface in pristine condition. This little stage box is able to take an unbalanced signal and, via a high-quality transformer, convert it into a balanced signal. Connect one end to the instrument via the 6.3mm jack on the back before connecting the balanced XLR output to your equipment and you're assured of a low-noise and interference-free connection, even when using longer cables. To hook up louder instruments and audio sources, simply hit the PAD switch to weaken the signal by 30 decibels to prevent the sound of any active guitars, basses or keyboards from clipping.
