General

Instruments like keyboards, pianos and synthesizers usually feature a stereo output, and the same goes for audio interfaces and DJ controllers. If these need to be connected on stage, you require two DI boxes. Luckily, Samson stock a stereo version, the MD2 PRO - a double version of the MD1 PRO. It features the same STLX transformer that perfectly converts the unbalanced signal to a balanced signal. Noise and/or humming won’t be an issue! Every channel is completely separated from the other, so that you can also use it for two different instruments!

Wrote the following about Samson MD2 Pro passive DI box

These are a solid and clean sounding DI. They are built like a tank and all the connections/switches feel very high quality. The sound is quiet, consistent and gives that nice warmth that is typical of Passive DIs without colouring it much. I bought 1 to try out on keys and electric drums and will be kitting out the rest of the set-up with these and the active MDA1s as well.

TOP product van Samson! ik had dus meerdere D.I boxen op het oog ook een andere van Samson, maar ik heb uiteindelijk deze gekozen omdat je twee in één hebt en dat komt goed van pas als je stereo gaat opnemen in jouw home studio, zoals ik dat doe met bepaalde instrumenten.
Mijn electrische gitaar klinkt bijzonder goed door deze D.I van Samson. Ik heb met opnemen altijd een clean signaal onder mijn tracks om lekker mee te mixen.

Deze D.I box van Samson is geschikt voor Synthesizers, Electrische gitaren die met hun stereo effecten een stereo signaal willen opnemen, meerdere instrumenten tegelijk opnemen. Bijvoorbeeld gitaar en bass.
