Radial are always improving their products. When it comes the stereo DI boxes, the JDI Duplex stands alone at the top. Without risking its legendary reputation, Radial managed to give this 2-channel direct box an overhaul. The new generation of the JDI Duplex is more compact than ever and was fitted with a 3.5mm stereo input so you can also connect a laptop or tablet, for instance. Moreover, you can now also mount it in a rack.

Properties of the Radial JDI Duplex

The JDI Duplex is perfect for instruments with a low output (such as an electric guitar or bass guitar) as well as instruments with a very dynamic output (e.g. digital pianos or electronic drums). The heart of the Radial JDI Duplex is a duo of high-end insulated Jensen transformers, with an exceptional linear response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz. This direct box can handle immensely high signal levels without any distortion. What's more, thanks to its passive design, the annoying 50Hz hum is a thing of the past.

A flexible tool

Thanks to its many connections (6.3mm and 3.5mm jacks, XLR stereo and RCA inputs), you can use the Radial JDI Duplex Stereo Direct Box for lots of things, both on stage and in the studio. Additionally, there's the option to combine stereo signals into a mono signal, a ground lift, a 180-degree polarity reverse, XLR select, and -15dB pad.
