Hartke's Bass Attack 2 combines the brand's classic preamp and direct box circuitry and an amazing tone into one robust, zinc die-cast stomp box design. The DI box is equipped with a balanced XLR output as well as Hartke's legendary Shape EQ, Contour and Overdrive effects. Years of experience and a focus on bass players in particular resulted in the Bass Attack 2, a device that gives you total control over your own, unique bass tones. For example, you have full access to the special Hartke Shape circuitry, which activates a special EQ preset that you can adjust to perfection using the Shape Frequency and Amount knobs. Then, using the Contour switch, you can add a little colour to your sound.
Bass guitar attack
The Bass Attack 2's overdrive circuit allows you the creative freedom to explore all the effects, which range from a subtle tube emulation to a grungy fuzz. You can use the Tone knob to adjust the amount of high frequency, while the Mix knob lets you mix channels with distortion with 'dry' channels. The Bass Attack 2 has a parallel output for a dry signal, an output for the amplifier and a balanced XLR output, offering you a wide selection of outputs for studio, rehearsal or live applications. Finally, the Bass Attack 2 works on a phantom power supply via the mixer using an XLR cable.
