NAMM 2016: Hartke Presents a New Bass Amp and Four New Bass Pedals
Hartke presented four new bass effects pedals and a bass amp head at this year's NAMM show. The four new pedals are the Bass Attack 2 DI box, the HC33 analogue bas chorus, the HF44 fuzz pedal and the HL77 loop pedal. The TX600 amp head has a capacity of 600 watts.
The bottom line
This lightweight amp head has it all: a classic class A, 12AX7 tube preamp circuit, a Tone Stack EQ, compressor, robust housing and an XLR output. This amp head gives you complete control over your bass sound. An aluminium housing, compact design and handle make it easy to transport as well.
The Hartke bass pedal arsenal
If you want to try out something new, then these bass guitar effects pedals by Hartke are just the thing. They've developed a little something for everyone this year at NAMM. More specifically, a fuzz, a looper, a chorus and a DI box with overdrive. All four are equipped with a user-friendly interface. The Bass Attack 2 DI box is the largest of the four, and besides a preamp, it also features an overdrive. Each pedal boasts completely analogue circuitry to ensure a delicious and varied sound.
