Throughout the 1920s, the biggest river in all of America played a crucial role in the development of the Blues. Workers from up and down the Mississippi would regularly meet to play music and swap tricks, many of them with a harmonica in their back pocket; a standing appointment that has since become the tradition of the Mississippi Blues, and one that still revolves around this cheap and humble little instrument. As an ode to the timeless sound that was first born on the banks of the Mississippi, Hohner present the Big River Harp.
