Once you discover the Allen & Heath Xone:K1, DJing and producing becomes easier than ever. This compact and durable DJ controller is equipped with no fewer than 52 assignable controls, and is compatible with any music or lighting software package. Connect the controller to your laptop's USB port, and decide for yourself which functions of your favourite software you want to assign to each button, knob and fader. You'll be able to adjust EQ parameters, control effects, change channel volumes and trigger hot cues in the blink of an eye.
Xone:K1: daisy-chaining
Are six endless rotary controls, four smooth faders, twelve knobs and thirty backlit buttons with three colours each not enough for you? No need to worry! Some good old UTP cables (the same cables you use for internet applications) are all you need to link multiple Xone:K1s together. It's also possible to connect the Xone:K1 to the Xone:K2, its slightly more comprehensive counterpart. Thanks to this X:LINK principle, you can even link the Xone:K1 to the Xone:23C, :DB2 and :DB4 mixers. That means you're able to use hardware to control every single function of your software! Before you know it, your computer keyboard and mouse will be gathering dust.
A user-friendly DJ controller
With the Xone:K1, Allen & Heath has issued a remarkably user-friendly controller. As it is powered via USB, setting it up takes mere moments. All you need is the included USB cable. This compact DJ controller can be used to control any device that's capable of receiving MIDI data, including VJ software. Check out the various available mapping examples for inspiration.
