General
Are you planning on taking the Behringer X32 with you on tour? Then you're definitely right in checking out this bundle. The bundle consists of a Behringer X32 digital mixer, two Behringer S16 digital snakes, a robust flight case by Prodjuser, two CAT5e cables and a reel. The S16 snakes connect easily to the X32 with a simple Ethernet cable, so you can set up quickly and have less risk of cable breakage or other types of technical difficulties. Besides that, the sound quality of this set is certainly impressive, and we have Behringer's collaboration with Klark Teknik and Midas to thank for that!
X32 mixer and S16 snakes
Both the Behringer X32 digital mixer and the Behringer S16 digital snakes are equipped with programmable Midas microphone preamplifiers with phantom power. You'll be amazed at the beautiful, full, natural sound you get. The X32 has 32 microphone inputs, and each S16 snake has 16 microphone inputs, along with eight servo-balanced XLR outputs. These can all be adjusted from the mixer, so you don't have to keep walking back and forth to the stage. In order to protect the mixer from scratches, bumps, bruises, dirt and dust, the bundle is delivered with a robust flightcase by Prodjuser.
Operation
The X32 is easy to control, making it an excellent choice for studio or live use. Thanks to the built-in interface, the channels can all be individually recorded with your computer. Each mixer channel offers an extensive channel strip that you can quickly control via the 17 illuminated buttons and 13 rotary knobs with LED rings. There is even a virtual effects rack built into the mixer, which provides you with access to eight stereo, multi-effect processors (sixteen mono).

It’s really easy to set up and I’ve had no issues at all. Being able to control 48v and each mic pre amp from the stagebox is great. Having this amount of functionality is brilliant. My only slight niggle with it is that there isn’t enough space for tape to label the channels (but that’s me properly nit-picking). I highly recommend it.

We hebben hem jaren met veel plezier gebruikt.
Geen dikke kabels meer naar 'front of house' en perfecte integratie met de X32.
We hebben hem wel weer ingeruild voor z'n grotere broertje omdat we ingangen te weinig hadden, maar dat doet niks af aan het product :)

Regelmatig updates door Behringer (helaas moesten we laatste wel de tafel opnieuw instellen, maar we hadden zelf de backup niet goed gemaakt) die steeds weer verbeteringen meebrengen.
Ideaal met de scribble scripts en heel flexibel in te stellen.
Geluid is perfect en we gebruiken hem met een digitale snake zodat we geen dikke kabel meer naar 'front of house' hoeven te leggen.
Onze technici hebben geen klagen (meer) sinds deze aanschaf. De Android app werkt perfect en is heel handig om samen te werken (de één aan de tafel en de ander met de tablet).
Overigens hebben de muzikanten ook geen klagen meer door het zelf kunnen regelen van de monitor kanalen via de app.
Met 16 uitgangen (8 stereo bussen) hebben we meer dan voldoende voor de monitoren.
We gebruiken hem ook om via USB sporen op te nemen. Dat werkt heel prettig met (bijv.) Reaper.
Al met al een heel goede investering waar we nog veel plezier van gaan hebben.
