General
Digital Mixing is no longer just for large ensembles and venues. With the Ui12, Soundcraft has managed to develop a compact digital mixing console, but without any faders or other control elements. Instead, this device connects with your Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad or Android device over a wired network or via Wi-Fi. It's even compatible with Linux systems! You'll have the ease of a digital mixer at your disposal with a significantly smaller physical mixer, ideal for bands who do their own sound!
The Soundcraft Ui12: High-Z Inputs
This mixer is equipped with 4 combined XLR/jack inputs. Two of these are so-called 'high-Z' inputs, with which a guitar or bass guitar can be connected. You'll never need a DI or adapter again! It also features four standard XLR microphone inputs and an RCA input for connecting media players. It also has a USB port for playing music directly from a USB stick. The Ui12 has two master and two aux inputs, one of which can be used for headphones.
Processing & Feedback Suppression
Naturally, you can also edit your audio. Each channel features a 4-band EQ, a compressor, a de-esser, and a noise gate. Three FX processors are driven by a bus structure, and two of the instrument inputs offer Digitech Amp & Stompbox modelling software. That means you'll have the most amazing guitar sounds at your fingertips as soon as you plug in your guitar. To top it all off, each output is equipped with dbx AFS2 feedback suppression so you can make the most of your system without worrying about unwanted feedback noise.

If someone asked me if I'd like a remotely controllable graphic eq for my system for under £250 I'd jump at the chance. This unit has so, so much to offer! I have used it for conference gigs with lectern and top table, small live sessions with solo artists and duos, comedy gigs and as a system eq in situations where the supplied kit does not offer enough control. It is compact and robust enough for me to shove in my backpack and now goes with me everywhere!! Recently I was supplied an amp rack, speakers and a basic mixer to engineer a comedy showcase that should have been really simple, when out of the blue part of the show became a skit featuring six comedians on cheap headset mics in front of the PA. this should have been a nightmare, but I whipped out this little beauty and I suddenly had enough eq and dynamic control to get a sweet sound despite the circumstances. Well worth the outlay just to make life easier for the jobbing engineer, and you can wonder around adjusting it from your phone or tablet!! Thoroughly recommended!

Behalve dat de bestelling en levering van Bax weer prima was, is dit ook gewoon een mooi toestel.
Tot nu toe werkte ik enkel nog maar met een analoge mixer.
Met deze digitale versie zie ik me vanaf nu veel meer mogelijkheden hebben.
Het verbinden en instellen met laptop of tablet gaat zeer vlot en werkt goed.
Op een mobiel is het scherm echter wel te klein om alles vlot te bereiken en instellingen te doen.
Het programma/de website is intuïtief en duidelijk opgemaakt.
Ook de
Mogelijkheid om verschillende groepen te maken en zo niet in het bos (bandje) te moeten zoeken naar die ene boom (instrument) is een meerwaarde.
Labels kan je ook makkelijk aanmaken zodat het niet gewoon input 1 is.
Je vindt op YouTube zeker voldoende filmpjes om er zelf mee te leren werken.
Ik heb dit toestel een eerste keer gebruikt op een lezing met verschillende sprekers en kon zo elke spreker goed tot zijn laten recht komen.
Nu komt het er vooral op aan om asap een cursus PA te doen zodat ik ook kleine bandjes mooi kan laten klinken, want geluid mooi krijgen is wel ietsje meer dan wat draaien aan knopjes.
Eens dat lukt, kan ik een grotere versie overwegen (Ui24) maar voor nu is dit zeker voldoende.

Geweldige Mixer! Er zitten aansluitingen op die ik bijvoorbeeld mis op zijn grote broer Soundcraft SI expression 1. Voor de kleinere venues is deze UI12 echt uitstekend! snel en makkelijk op te zetten, tablet of laptop aan en Mixen maar, tevens zijn er talloze instel mogelijkheden!

Très satisfait de la qualité globale du produit pour son prix.
J'ai une version récente puisque elle était livrée avec le dernier firmware dispo. Donc tous les problèmes remontés depuis 2016 ont été corrigés !
Tout fonctionne parfaitement, je ai pas eu de decrochage wifi (connection en direct) avec mon MacBook pro. Avec une vieille tablette de 2015 qui s'est mise en veille, c'est arrivé mais l'ui12 n'est pas a blâmer et la reconnection s'est faite en 15 sec tout est passé inaperçu .
Je l'ai achetée pour du live en petit comité. Mais vu la qualité étonnante du son guitare et basse je m'en sers de preamp basse et guitare en home studio câblée vers l'entrée de mon interface audio.
On obtient vite de supers sons , les paramètres peuvent être sauvegardés rapidement.
Maintenant je l'utiise meme pour compser et travailler des morceaux grace a la lecture et l'enregistrement usb . Même plus besoin d'allumer l'ordinateur ! L'ui 12 un casque et une guitare ou une basse et c'est parti. On superpose comme a la vieille epoque .
Il lui manque plus q'une petite alim sur batterie.
Si il y avait un système d'enregistrement et d'édition multipiste intégré pilotable de la meme manière ce serait une vraie révolution...
Apres avoir mis les amplis basse et guitare au placard , ce serait au tour des Daw.
Du bon matos qui favorise la créativité grace a la simplicité.

Ik heb deze mengpaneel gekocht en het is een heel goed ding ik speel piano en gitaar en als je daar wat reverb enz. Opgooit klinkt het heel mooi, ik be. Tevreden met dit product.

Pas de surprise, petite de taille mais fait bien le job. Plus la peine de trimballer ma mackie 32 voies. A voir s'il y aura des décrochages sur scène mais en temps at home, portée valable (au moins 20m)

Preamplificatori microfonici particolarmente rumorosi, hiss presente su tutta la banda udibile e percepibile anche in presenza di sottofondo musicale. Peccato perchè il prodotto è molto versatile e l'interfaccia è web è molto ben curata ed usabile su qualsiasi piattaforma senza dover installare nulla.

Ik had de Xair12 van Behringer maar vond deze mixer niet fijn om af te stellen. Nu de UI12 aangeschaft, waanzinnig apparaat. Makkelijke interface, degelijk, goede mix. FX intern prima en goed af te stellen. Ging eerst niet goed met de levering via DHL maar Bax heeft dit perfect opgelost. Ik mocht hem vanuit de winkel meenemen. Bax bedankt !!!!!!
