General

The Klotz F8US16A005 is a robust 5-metre fibre-optic breakout cable with a SmartBeam OCTO hermaphroditic lens connector and eight SC/UPC connectors. Thanks to FiberFlex ULTRA single-mode OS2 fibre (9/125 µm), transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s over distances of up to 10 km are possible. The cable is IP67-certified, dust- and dirt-resistant and features a strong PUR jacket with aramid strain relief. This makes it suitable for use in challenging conditions such as broadcast, live events and outdoor applications. Compatible with Fiberfox, FibreCo HMA, Stratos, Optocore, Eurolens EBC, Optocon and FibreCast™ systems, among others.
