General

With the Accent digital piano, M-Audio places emphasis on affordability, quality sounds and a comprehensive set of useful functions. It's the ideal choice for the pianist on a budget who wants an affordable instrument that sounds as much like an authentic grand as possible. M-Audio has achieved this by giving the Accent a keyboard with 88 keys which simulates the playability and hammer action of an acoustic piano. When you switch the Accent on and hit a key, you'll hear the convincing sound of a Steinway grand thanks to the AIR Music Technology.

Realistic and comprehensive

The Accent has a lot to offer at a great price. You'll not only have realistic piano sounds at your disposal, you'll also have a selection of other sounds to choose from, like electric piano and drawbar organ. What's more, the Accent offers 50 rhythms to play around with - a function not often found on a digital piano - offering anything from rock to jazz to a Venetian waltz! The Lesson mode is also handy, as it splits the keyboard in two so tutor and student can practise the same piece simultaneously. Finally, the Accent also comes with an essential accessory for playing the piano, a sustain pedal.

XLR outputs and USB MIDI

A remarkable characteristic about the M-Audio Accent is the fact that it has two XLR outputs on the back. Using these professional, interference-free outputs, you can easily connect this digital piano to a mixer on stage or at home. You can also use the Accent as a controller, in which case, you simply hook it up to your computer using a USB cable and use it to play the virtual instruments in your DAW. It's also equipped with a classic MIDI output as well as a double headphone output, so two people can practise undisturbed at the same time.

M-Audio Accent

Wrote the following about M-Audio Accent
