The Roland F-120R, the R standing for Rhythm, is a slim, only 30cm deep digital piano, which is a great practice instrument for beginners. The piano sound and the feel of the keys and pedals are very life-like, like those of the F-120. In addition, the F-120R offers 60 backing styles and a USB connector that allows you to load even more rhythms, songs and WAV files. This edition features a beautiful ebony, polished black finish, which looks great in nearly any interior.

The realistic sound of the F-120R

The F120R makes use of Roland's renowned SuperNATURAL system for its piano sound. This system does not merely play recorded tones, but generates the sound of the best pianos in minute detail on the spot. You can tell by the realistic decay of the tones, the subtle and fluent changes in timbre when you vary the force of your strokes and the individual character of each tone. To provide a natural experience for your fingers as well, the F-120R is equipped with Progressive Hammer Action. This system causes the resistance of the keys to increase with the force of your touch. The characteristic grand piano 'click' of the keys is provided by the Escapement mechanism.

Additional features

A defining characteristic of the R120-R are the backing styles, which follow your playing to a tee. Select the Pianist mode, and the piano does not only register the chords of the lower half, but of the entire keyboard. This means you can play exactly like you are accustomed! The F120-R is equipped with a number of great practice functions, such as a metronome, a simple recorder and the Twin Piano function. The latter divides the keyboard into two equal parts, allowing two people to practice the same piece simultaneously. The MIDI connectors enable you to connect the digital piano to your PC or Mac.
