General
The Sennheiser E 614 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a super-cardioid pickup pattern and a wide frequency range. This means that it picks up sound accurately and in detail and you will hardly be bothered by feedback and ambient noise. The microphone is specifically designed for percussion and for use as an overhead microphone. It can take a maximum sound pressure of 139 dB, so the sound won't distort any time soon. Besides percussion, the E 614 can be used for registering almost any other instrument. Its excellent acoustic properties make the Sennheiser E 614 a popular microphone, in the studio as well as on stage.

Fantastische mic! Erg tevreden hoe hij met oefensessies boven het drumstel de klank weergeeft. In combinatie met een kickmic kan je een best lekkere mix maken :) Ook live versterkt hij mijn voettamboerijn erg goed als ik in one-man-band formatie speel. Door de grote van deze microfoon kan je hem ook best makkelijk wegwerken of verstoppen.
